Jourdona LaFate, AIA

Jourdona has a Master's degree in both Construction Administration and Architecture from the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, Jourdona was awarded the Florida AIA Bronze Medal and the Architecture MRP Design Honor Award for her academic achievement in the the study of architecture and work on her Master's Research Project. She was awarded 1st place for her submission to the AIA-AARP Livable Communities National Student Competition. These accomplishments are not surprising for a lady who built her first model, at home, on the bathroom floor using only q-tips when she was five years old.

Prior to joining the team at Sweet Sparkman Architects, Jourdona worked for The Haskell Company, an international design build firm, where she worked on site as an assistant project manager. When Jourdona is not producing beautifully detailed drawings, she likes to golf and play the piano, but above all else she loves to eat.
