Matt Fergeson, AIA, NCARB

Matt Fergeson, AIA, NCARB is a rare Sarasota native. This Cardinal Mooney graduate has returned to his hometown after working for firms in Roanoke, VA and Tampa, FL. Included among his previous projects are the historical renovations and rooftop garden for Center in the Square Museum in Roanoke and Opes Health Channelside's signature location in Tampa. Matt is a proud new father and is happy to return to Sarasota where both his family and his wife’s family reside. His interests outside of architecture and family primarily include golf, food & beer. “I really enjoy the studio environment at Sweet Sparkman Architects. It encourages collaboration within the office, which is a huge benefit in our profession. It’s also nice to be part of a group that cares as much about its employees as it does about architecture! After being away for 10 years, I feel like I’ve found a solid firm in which to re-establish myself in my hometown.”
