John Bryant, AIA, LEED AP

John is the newest member of our design team. John and his wife recently moved to the area to be close to family, and to enjoy the Gulf Coast. John is a talented guitar player and his cool hand style transfers nicely to his duties as a Project Manager. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2007, after studying music in his undergraduate education at Grinnell College. At the University of Maryland, he received the Dean’s Thesis Award and the 2007 David M. Schwarz Traveling Fellowship, which allowed for thesis research in Japan. Prior to joining Sweet Sparkman Architects in 2012, John worked for Kliment Halsband Architects in New York City, where he served as Project Architect for the Harvard Divinity School Master Plan, and Arcadia Commons, a new student center at Arcadia University. He had previously interned in the Washington, DC offices of Ehrenkrantz, Eckstut & Kuhn, and David M. Schwarz Architects.
