28th May - 27th November 2016
Sweet Sparkman Architects was invited back to the Palazzo Mora to participate in the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. This time we not only partnered with the Ringling College of Art and Design, but we also included UF CityLab Sarasota. Together, Sweet Sparkman Architects and the student created an exhibition entitled Human Tales on Refrigerator Doors to go with the Biennale’s overarching theme “Reporting from the Front.” The Tales on the Refrigerator Doors told stories of architecture in action as an instrument of social change, political life, and private / public challenges.
