Cuban born and raised, Amanda grew up in Havana and moved to Canada where she received her Bachelor in Architecture (cum laude) and Master of Architecture degrees at the University of Waterloo. During her academic program, she studied abroad in Rome and completed five internships at architecture firms based in Toronto, Ottawa, Havana and Sarasota, working on architectural projects in the entertainment design, custom residential, historical restoration, transportation infrastructure and theme park industries.
Amanda loves anything with an engine and extreme sports. She enjoys spending her days outdoors, working on motorcycles, building things or trying out new sports, her latest being kiteboarding the beautiful gulf beaches.
