Kevin Tenor, Associate AIA

A Miami, FL native, Kevin’s family relocated to Haiti when he was three years old before eventually moving back to the States after middle school. He holds an Associate degree in Architecture from Miami Dade College and earned his Master’s in Architecture from Florida International University.

Since childhood, Kevin has always had a fascination with houses and buildings. Daily, constant house sketching sketches were a hobby for him in these spaces while growing up. His design style is a combination of contemporary and minimalist mid-century modern. In his work, he loves the challenge of solving spatial issues with not too much emphasis on the design. He considers himself a minimalist, and he loves the challenge of solving spatial constraints.Kevin had the privilege of managing several K-8 educational projects throughout several counties in Florida. It is his current passion, and he finds pleasure in building safer schools for the kids in the community.

When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys creating music on the saxophone and piano. He also enjoys soccer with friends in the Tampa Bay area. He lives with his lovely wife and son in Ruskin, Florida.
